Sometimes agreement resolves a conflict. Sometimes it starts a business.

We bring the right parties to the same table.

Can We Agree supports owners, management teams and organisations when direct conversation has become difficult, when conflict begins to threaten business continuity, or when a valuable partnership has not yet begun.

Restore business dialogue

We prepare and open difficult conversations between owners, management teams, business partners, clients and suppliers — especially when direct communication has stopped working.

Protect business continuity

We intervene when a dispute begins to threaten production, deliveries, a key business relationship, a project or accumulated know-how.

The objective is not to decide who is right. It is to protect what may still be worth preserving.

Connect people and organisations

We identify complementary interests, initiate conversations and help potential partners determine whether there is a workable basis for cooperation.

Our role

Can We Agree may be asked to act by one of the parties. We always disclose who asked us to become involved.

We do not represent one party against another. We create a credible first contact, organise the relevant facts and interests, and establish whether a constructive business conversation is still possible.

Our role is not to determine who is legally right. It is to identify whether cooperation, continuity or business value can still be protected.

  • Independent in approach.
  • Transparent in role.
  • Confidential.
  • Constructive.

Can We Agree is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation, court mediation or debt collection services.

Where legal advisers are involved, our work complements their work. It does not replace it.

Who you will speak with

Stefan Podedworny

Founder, Can We Agree

I combine extensive experience in international sales, management and business development with a background in economic diplomacy, behavioural economics and the quality of decision-making processes.

In difficult conversations, the problem is not always simply a conflict of interests. The parties may rely on different information, interpret the same facts differently, or be influenced by pressure, cognitive shortcuts, heuristics and attempts at manipulation.

My role therefore goes beyond bringing the parties to the same table. I help them organise the facts, separate them from assumptions and judgments, identify their real interests and develop a sufficiently shared understanding of the situation. Only then can they seek an agreement that is not a superficial compromise, but a solution that can genuinely be accepted and implemented.

I support owners and management teams when a lack of agreement begins to threaten cooperation, operational continuity or business value. I also initiate conversations between organisations whose capabilities, resources and objectives may provide the foundation for a valuable partnership.

I help the right people see the same situation similarly enough to make a shared decision — to end a costly dispute or begin a good business relationship.
